Our Story

Juanita’s Plants is a woman-owned NYC-based online plant shop and plant delivery service founded by Kat Hernandez. We deliver plants to all 5 boroughs of NYC Monday-Friday.   

As a native New Yorker, our founder, Kat, has always been drawn to nature to balance out her surroundings of tall buildings, new condominiums, and the fast pace life of cars honking and people rushing to the subway in NYC. 

Creating an indoor jungle in her home, allowed her home to become her safe haven and sanctuary. She knew indoor plants had this impact on so many other people, who lived in NYC which is why she founded Juanita’s Plants. She is on a mission to create better-living spaces/working spaces for all New Yorkers.  

Juanita’s Plants is about paying homage and carrying the legacy of Kat’s grandmother, Juanita Campusano, a wonderful soul who passed in 2019.
